The Torrent I Baitcaster Fishing Reel features a Japanese Hamai Cut Gearing, with a larger and stronger reinforced main gear compared to the average baitcasters. Engineered and precision-cut gears, along with stainless steel springs and screws, provide strength, water resistance, reliable operation, and quiet, steady-speed retrievals. This baitcasting reel is unique in the market, as it is the only one with reinforced gears.

The reel boasts a five-magnet system strategically placed to optimize the magnetic effect on the ported aluminum spool, coupled with a precise dial-in-gauge for backlash control. The spool tension knob and light thumb pressure help eliminate the days of tangled bird nests. Maintenance and periodic cleaning are made easy with a simple lever that releases the removable side-plate.

Unlike many other baitcasting reels, the Torrent I features double line winding shafts as standard equipment, ensuring stability, performance, and strength, a feature often found in much more expensive reels. Optimal shielded bearings provide a long life, resisting oil wear particles and water, whether fresh or salt.

Piscifun engineers have solved the problem of losing parts when doing a quick oil on the reel by incorporating a quick oil port design. Simply remove the screw and oil, a convenient feature for both novice and pro anglers. The reel also boasts a nickel-plated brass driver shaft, a 5-magnet braking system, and a 60S lubricant design, all contributing to its high performance and durability.

With a maximum drag of 18 pounds, the Torrent I Baitcaster Fishing Reel is equipped with a magnetic brake system and 5+1 ball bearings. Its retrieve rate ranges from 7.1:1 (30 inches per turn) to 5.3:1 (22.8 inches per turn), catering to various fishing techniques such as crankbaits, slower presentations, pitching jigs, or burning baits at high speed. The reel can accommodate braid up to 30 pounds and mono up to 10 pounds, making it a versatile choice for anglers.
